Water Chiller Solutions for the Sistema Plastics Expansion
One of the largest plastics manufacturers in Australasia, Sistema Plastics in Auckland, were expanding their manufacturing operations. With the aim of having 24-hour plastics production, the corporate client commissioned Project HVAC to provide central water chillers.
Demand-driven chilled water is required as part of the manufacturing process so it needs to be energy-efficient and provide continuity of operation.
Action Taken
Project HVAC provided two large air-cooled process water cooling central chiller plants with the capacity and reliability needed. The Clivet SPINChiller solution provides reliable process cooling capabilities and stable temperatures for manufacturing and processing environments.
The cooling capacity of Clivet chillers operating at the Sistema Plastics factory is above 3 MW.
Results
The packaged chiller system has been running without failure since its installation. Proving to be the ideal solution with the capacity and reliability required by the giant plastics manufacturer.
